ISLAMABAD – Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) head Imran Khan stated on Tuesday that an announcement to dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies would be made before December 20.
While highlighting the ruling Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) “ineffective decisions” on the country’s economy during a meeting with PTI lawmakers in Mianwali, Sargodha, and Sahiwal at Zaman Park, the deposed premier said that party politics is not against the country’s interests, adding that the announcement regarding the dissolution of provincial assemblies will be made before December 20.
“PML-Q is our important ally, and we are on the same page when it comes to dissolution choices,” he added.
Earlier on Monday, the PTI head attacked the existing administration, stating that investors had lost trust in the government as a result of its policies.
While speaking to his economic staff, the former prime minister voiced concern that things may spiral out of hand. He stated that he had approached Hammad Azhar, Hamayun Akthar, Omar Ayub, and others to address the economic situation. He bemoaned the media’s failure to spotlight the status of the economy.
“We are making every effort to educate the public about the economic situation. We’ll discuss how the country is trying to deal with the current situation and how we may overcome it. The present scenario will have an impact on critical state institutions “said the former prime minister.
Imran stated that the Soviet Union’s force was the most powerful army in the world, citing the Soviet Union’s force.
The former prime minister stressed that the judiciary must play a role if the country is to prevent a rapid fall. Highlighting his government’s accomplishments, he stated, “The richest individuals in our period were farmers.” Farmers saw their first-ever record earnings. Industries were expanding during our period. In large-scale manufacturing, the industry increased by 10.7%.
“The country’s dollar deficit was increasing,” Imran Khan stated, adding that “we had taken out loans to fulfil the instalment payments.”
