ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Election Commission (ECP) has requested government money to mass-produce electronic voting machines (EVMs) for the 2023 general elections.
For this reason, the ECP issued a letter to the government.
For the next general elections, at least 800,000 EVMs will be mass-produced. To do so, ECP will need a substantial sum of money.
The ECP also requested a warehouse in its letter to the government to store the 800,000 EVMs in a secure location.
