LAHORE, Pakistan (Web Desk) – Cotton production in the nation increased by more than 70% to 6.852 million bales as of November 15, 2021.
According to data, the country produced 4.027 million bales of cotton during the same period last year, while 5.7 million bales were produced for the full year.
According to statistics, both Punjab and Sindh have recorded significant increases in cotton output.
As of November 15, Punjab’s cotton production was at 3.413 million bales. Similarly, output in Sindh increased to 3.439 million bales.
So far, textile mills have acquired 6.22 million bales, while exporters have purchased 16400 bales.
