According to Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leader Fazlur Rehman, the ruling party’s partners are also apprehensive owing to its anti-people policies. The opposition should engage in genuine discussions with the government’s partners.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman presided over the gathering. Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, PML-N spokeswoman Maryam Aurangzeb, Dr. Tariq Fazl Chaudhry, Bilal Kayani, National Party’s Abdul Malik, Aftab Sherpao, Owais Noorani, Hafiz Abdul Karim, Siddique Al Farooq, Hafiz Hamdullah, and others also attended the conference.

The gathering, according to reports, is examining the strategy for the March 23 long march. The huddle is also debating issues about internal reform. The proposals of the PDM’s steering committee are being evaluated, as is a foreign financing case against PTI. Transparency International’s report is also being examined.
