In a search, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) detained former Korangi Municipal Commissioner Masroor Mamon and two collaborators and confiscated gold bricks, gold buttons, dollars, Dirhams, Riyals, and telegraphic transfers (TT) receipts worth millions.
The arrested include accounting officer Waqash and audit officer Dharam Veer, according to the NAB.
According to the official, they discovered corruption in oil and other purchases, as well as kickbacks for contracts.
