PESHAWAR – On Sunday, police said that they had detained three people suspected of murdering a young girl in the provincial capital and then surreptitiously buried her.
The suspects shot and injured the girl at first, then buried her when she died from her wounds. The murder reportedly took place under the guise of “honour.”
In this context, police said they have detained three men who they believe to be the perpetrators of the event. Police are confident that they can compile a compelling case against the suspect and have them punished in accordance with the law.
