On Thursday morning, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale shook Islamabad, the nation’s capital. The Seismological Center reports that because of how powerful the earthquake was, many individuals were forced to leave their houses while saying the Kalma-e-Tayyaba.

The Seismological Center said that the earthquake’s 60-kilometer depth epicentre was in Tajikistan’s border region. According to early reports, Abbottabad and Malakand experienced earthquakes as well.
