The opposition proposes a vote of no confidence in the government as well as a demand for a special session of the National Assembly.

Opposition MPs unanimously tabled a resolution of no confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan at the National Assembly Secretariat today in an attempt to depose him (Tuesday).

The opposition has also called for a meeting of the National Assembly to address the no-trust resolution.

The motion was brought by a group of opposition MPs including PML-N leaders Rana Sanaullah, Ayaz Sadiq, Khwaja Saad Rafique, Marriyum Aurangzeb, and others, as well as PPP leaders Shazia Marri and Naveed Qamar.
