JHANG: In yet another dog bite incident, a five-year-old kid died on Sunday after being attacked by stray dogs in Punjab’s Jhang district.

According to sources, a pack of stray dogs mauled a five-year-old minor kid to death on Sunday when he was playing with her pals near a graveyard in Jhang.

Rescuers came on the site after being alerted and discovered Abdul Rehman, a little boy, dead after being attacked by dogs.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar, took note of a little boy’s death as a result of a dog bite and sought a report from the Commissioner of Faisalabad Division and the RPO Faisalabad.

The CM expressed his condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the deceased’s family. He assured the bereaved family that justice will be served.

The number of stray dogs attacking humans is increasing in Punjab.

A 12-year-old child was murdered by dogs on February 1 in Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan) region, which is also the hometown of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

Mubashir, a seventh-grader, was assaulted at a DG Khan school by six stray dogs. On a motorcycle, locals carried the boy to DHQ hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead upon arrival.
