On Sunday morning, thick layers of fog blanketed major towns in Pakistan’s plains, closing down motorways and highways, according to the A News.
Some roadways, on the other hand, were open to commuters, but traffic was light.
Motorway M1 was blocked for traffic from Peshawar to Barhan due to poor visibility, while Motorway M2 was closed for traffic from Lahore to Sheikhupura, Motorway M3 was closed from Faizpur to Nankana Sahib, and the Hazara Motorway was also closed for commuters.
From Colonel Sher Khan to Chakdara, the Swat Expressway was also closed to traffic.
