ISLAMABAD– Senator Kamran Murtaza of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) filed a case against Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, DIG Islamabad, and Assistant Deputy Commissioner Islamabad for police action at the Parliament Lodges at the Secretariat Police Station on Thursday.
Senator Kamran Murtaza said in his application that officers broke down the entrance to MNA’s lodge and forced their way in. He added that the Assistant Deputy Commissioner was there in addition to the police.
Police abducted two MNAs and their guests during an operation at the Parliament Lodges, he claimed.
