Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Lahore for a day-long visit today (Thursday), amid rising political tensions following the submission of a no-confidence motion. He has important meetings to chair throughout his stay in the city.
According to sources, the Prime Minister would meet separately with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will also attend a parliamentary party meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, to which all members of the PTI Punjab Assembly have been invited.
On the other side, the Jahangir Tareen group has rejected to attend the summit. The Tareen party has announced that their parliamentary meeting would be postponed.
