MOSCOW: According to Russian news channels, Moscow has announced a humanitarian ceasefire in Ukraine for Wednesday morning to allow people to be evacuated.
“The Russian Federation declares a’regime of quiet’ beginning at 10:00 MSK (0700 GMT) on March 9, 2022, and is ready to offer humanitarian corridors,” a Russian defence ministry unit in charge of humanitarian operations in Ukraine stated Tuesday.
Russia further requests that Ukraine and Russia reach an agreement on the routes and start timings for the humanitarian corridors “before 03:00 MSK on March 9.”
