ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Ehsaas Riayat Rashan Program in Islamabad today [Monday], which would provide a thirty percent monthly subsidy on basic essentials to twenty million families.
According to the details, the targeted subsidy plan attempts to reduce the cost of essential commodities including wheat flour, cooking oil, ghee, and lentils.
Under the initiative, subsidies of Rs106 billion would be distributed to 20 million eligible families. The Kafaalat Cash Assistance Program will be established under the Ehsaas Kafalat Scheme, with a budget of 71 billion rupees.
