According to Federal Minister of Finance Shaukat Tarin, Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued a relief package after careful consideration.

Shaukat Tarin noted that the administration has opted to offer assistance to the people in view of changing global conditions. He added that the rescue plan will cost between Rs 250 and Rs 300 billion and will have no effect on the IMF programme.

Pakistan’s information technology (IT) sector, he feels, has tremendous development potential. He went on to say, “The information technology business is our lifeline; it is a game changer.”
