ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – The Pakistan Peoples Party has rejected the mini-budget, and Sherry Rehman has stated that everything would become more costly as a result of the increased fuel charge and sales tax.
In a tweet, Sherry Rehman questioned how the government can claim that raising these taxes will have no influence on the pricing of everyday commodities. She went on to say that the PPP rejects the government’s and the IMF’s mini-budgets.
The PPP leader went on to say that the government is planning to impose a 17 percent GST on a number of commodities, which will raise inflation and afflict already-suffering people.
